I suppose you might be wondering: Who is Brianna Somersham, and why should I care about her books? Well, I can’t tell you why you might care about them, but I can tell you why I do. Each and every story found here and those still residing in my WIPs folder on my laptop is a story only I could tell, filled with characters who are fun, funny, and interesting in all the ways I like. Hopefully, you will like them too. Some people already do.
As for who I am, well, I am a story teller. A wordsmith. An author. A ghostwriter. A sister, daughter, granddaughter, etc. All of those combine to define a little bit of me, but we’re gonna focus on the writer part. I have always loved stories and the hope they bring. The despair they can sometimes cause deep in our souls. The whimsy and nostalgia they evoke. The thrilling excitement woven throughout with each carefully chosen word meant to keep us, the famished reader, turning the pages until we inevitably reach The End, and are either left satisfied or gnashing our teeth, salivating, for more.
I strive to evoke all this in my stories. At the end of the tales I choose to share with you, I hope that you feel. The good, the bad, the heartache, the joy, the love, and the sorrow. Emotions move us, one and all, and it is that gift I want to give to you.
So. Who am I? Someone looking to impart emotion in a way unique to me. Through words sparked to life in my own brain, wrangled together by my own thought, and delivered –sometimes clumsily– by my own hands.
